Welcome to 1 Hope's biggest orphan ministry project to date.

Our orphans ministry exists to serve and love orphaned and abandoned children holding to a strong conviction that each child has a right to be raised in a

family as God has originally designed. The 1 Hope team has a deep burden for the children of South Africa who have been left without a family. Our passion

to love and help these children has led us to raise funds to purchase and open a Baby Home - and God has provided the funds in incredible ways to do so.

The Muphamuzi Baby Home is inspired by a little boy named Muphamuzi, who was abandoned as a baby and given this name which means "give me a

home". In 2007 he was given a home and a family of his own where he is loved, cared for and cherished. With over 3 Million other orphans in South Africa,

our dream is to help as many as we can, one at a time, also to find a home and family of their own. Specifically the home will be a place of safety as the

babies await adoption.

OUR GOALS:

1) Providing a safe haven for babies that have been abandoned

2) Providing sufficient care for these babies

3) Bridge the gap between abandoned and cherished where through adoption a forever family is found and hope is restored.

The home we purchased is situated in Capital Park, Pretoria, South Africa. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room and kitchen. There is a big yard in the back including a big garage/shed that can be converted into a second house/flat. The total size of the stand is 1200m2. Below is a few pictures (before renovations) of some of the rooms in the house.

The home is situated on Van Heerden Street, no 450. A quiet road and is only 2 minutes away from the Academic Hospital, 5 minutes from Sunnyside

and down town Pretoria.
