The Ndayihimbaze Family
Gad and Rose Ndayihimbaze. 2 children: boy – Kevin age 7, girl – Joyeuse age 6
FAMILY INFO: Gad and his family are from Burundi. 3 years ago Gad escaped Burundi after being threatened to be killed. He fled to South Africa and waited 3 long years before his wife and children were able to join them. They just arrived in South Africa June 2009 after weeks of travel by bus, train and foot and suffering sickness along the way. They are now together as a family. As a family of 4 they live in 1/2 bedroom in an apartment shared by many others. Gad works hard everyday as a parking guard and earns about $200/month which is used to pay rent and provide for his family.
NEEDS: Finance support for food and school fees for children
PRAYER REQUEST: better jobs for both Gad and Rose. For Children to be able to study at school. Gad would like more time with his family as he must now always work in order to provide for them.

The Pasipanodya Family
Nickson and Esta Pasipanodya Children: Kimberley – girl age 8 months
FAMILY INFO: Nickson and Esta are from Zimbabwe and have fled to South Africa to escape the terrible dictatorship that has ruined their country taking away jobs, closing schools and even taking homes and land. Nickson has been here for a year and Esta arrived 9 months ago. Little Kimberley was born here in South Africa. Nickson works as a Security guard and earns about $100/month. Esta has a housemaid job but can only find work for 1 or 2 days/week earning about $50/month. The living conditions are quite rough as they live in a small living room with 2 other families. They have a corner of the room which serves as kitchen, bedroom and sitting room for the 3 of them. Nickson and Esta are joyful believers in Christ and belong to Living Hope Church in Sunnyside.
NEEDS: Finance for better housing, food, and clothing for Kimberley.
PRAYER REQUESTS: To find better jobs in order to provide better housing and enough food for the month.
